What Ingredients Do We Use?

WAX

Lost Canyon candles are made with a coconut wax blend (coconut wax fortified with a small amount of vegetable-based stearic acid and beeswax) that is non-toxic and skin-safe. We love it for its clean, even burn, and excellent scent throw. Coconuts are also considered a high-yield, easily renewable, and sustainable crop - a welcome alternative for those looking to balance quality with sustainability.

WICK

Constructed of 100% natural materials, our zinc core wick features a cotton outer braid surrounding an inner zinc filament. Zinc core wicks are known for their cool flame profile and their ability to remain upright in the molten wax pool, making them perfect for our jars. 

FRAGRANCE

Our fragrances are custom-blended and infused with essential oils for scents steeped in character and nostalgia. We use a combination of natural and synthetic fragrances that are free from phthalates, parabens, and any chemicals associated with California's Proposition 65 list. 

PACKAGING

All of our boxes and paper-based packaging including packing peanuts, tape, and notecards are naturally biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable.
